Program Description
Srishti's Advanced Diploma Program in Animation provides a dynamic learning environment where students who are proficient in animation design can discover answers to their passions for creative expression and create globally acceptable pieces of work while pushing the envelope in terms of technique and technology. While offering a sophisticated, multidisciplinary environment, the Advanced Animation Program will be a learning experience that fosters exploration, experimentation, conceptualization and collaboration leading to an Advanced Diploma in Animation and Visual Effects.
Entry Requirements
Those seeking to join the Advanced Diploma Program specializing in Animation are expected to be self-motivated individuals who are unafraid of creatively engaging in a variety of fields, working collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary setting. Students who have completed an undergraduate program (Diploma or Bachelors program) in Animation, Arts, Architecture, Science, Engineering, Computer Programming, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences and Business are eligible for entry. Candidates with work experience in related fields may also apply.
Working skills in 2D or 3D Animation is a prerequisite. Although first-year students are expected to take an exploratory approach to their work, evidence of substantial work is expected by the end of the year. By the end of the second year, evidence of a developing focus is expected.
Candidates who have drawing skills and a passion for the arts have an advantage. There is no age requirement for entry into the program. Communication skills in English are essential.
Admissions
Eligibility and Application Procedure
The requirements for applying to the program are an application form with personal statements and a portfolio of work to be sent in on CD/DVD. Candidates will be invited for a personal interview to determine their eligibility.
How to Apply
Download and fill in the ADP application form and the reference form. The referencer should have taught you or been an employer or an institution that has trained and certified you for 2 years or more, and cannot be a relative.
